11th Annual Spring Fling

Please join us Saturday, May 7th for another fun gathering at The Auburn Sportsman’s

Club. Members of the MBA as well-as non-members are invited to our annual bluebird

event in Massachusetts (join the MBA on Saturday and take home a nestbox!). All are

welcome to participate in the pre-Fling bird-banding. We hope to see you there! Bring

your own bag lunch. The MBA will provide some drinks and snacks.

Something new!! We will be building nestboxes for our new members. We have

new membership displays available for events and a FREE nestbox is now offered

with each new membership (received at event). Bring a hammer, bring a friend –

MBA will supply all the materials ready to be assembled. Fun for all!

Dawn – 10:00am ~ Bird Banding (weather permitting: heavy winds or rain cancels)

The Auburn Sportsman’s Club is one of the area’s premiere federal migratory bird

banding stations.

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Brief business meeting. Discussion, Q&A on bluebird questions

and sharing of experiences and BUILDING NESTBOXES. Lunch: Beverages will be

provided – bring your own lunch. No auction. Please think of people or organizations

that deserve our support (appropriate to our mission) so we can discuss making grants.

Directions to the Auburn Sportsman’s Club

From the East and West: Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to the I-290 exit. Take I-290 West

to Route 20. Take Route 20 East about ½ mile until you see a blinking yellow light and

a Getty station on the right. Turn right onto Elm Street. The Auburn Sportsman’s Club

will be about one half mile on the right.

From the North: Take I-290 West to Route 20. Take Route 20 East about one half mile

until you see a blinking yellow light and a Getty station on the right. Turn right onto

Elm Street. The Auburn Sportsman’s Club will be about one half mile on the right.
